Partners Successful program implementation is dependent upon solid community partnerships. It is the goal of CHAMPIONS to promote and encourage ongoing lifestyle behaviors, inclusive of regular daily activity and healthy life choices. However, the environment must be conducive to this initiative in order to provide the students a means for achievement. Capital Health Plan started CHAMPIONS to encourage regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices in the community. This program is supported through a collaborative partnership involving Capital Health Plan, Titus Sports Academy, Leon County Schools, World Class Schools of Leon County, and the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. The following public school systems offer CHAMPIONS to kids before, during, and after school: Calhoun County Schools Gadsden County Schools Jefferson County Schools Leon County Schools Liberty County Schools Wakulla County Schools We also greatly appreciate the many food service providers that have donated and continue to donate food to CHAMPIONS participants!
